For those who keep track of these things, about two weeks ago I was asked to make some photographs at what I cheekily referred to as a ‘top-secret location.’ The truth is this used to be a highly secure facility that produced a wide range of paints and dyes for various commercial purposes (rumor alert: I heard they made the paint for red corvettes). Some time ago, I’m not sure when, the plant was shut down and production moved overseas. Before they destroy this behemoth of a factory, the construction company who had done much of the physical upgrades to the plant over the last two decades wanted a visual document of their work. And this is it.
