When is an out-take not an out-take?

mcp0654I’ve been honored the past two years to be asked to photograph a group of retired priests for a locally produced campaign that chronicles the positive impact these retirees still have on their communities.  I’ve included 5 images that were created last week.  It’s safe to say that these ‘out-takes’ won’t make it into the brochure, but I think they’re the best portraits of the day.mcp0710mcp0732mcp0754

Photo Lottery – support the AS220 Community Darkroom

MCP_01807fThis Saturday is the Photo Lottery at AS220 in Providence. This bi-annual event raises money to support the Paul Krot Community Darkroom and associated youth programs in Providence. A number of renown, as well as local photographers donate prints to the event. This year’s headliners are Jock Sturgess, Danny Lyon and others.  Buy a ticket, you are guaranteed to leave with a print. This is my donation this year, a digital photo based work titled “Brian at the Park.” Succinct no?  Check out the event here.
